Speakers will be announced as confirmed:
Feb 14th'A new stage: Acting in the Covid'
Recorded on Feb 14th 2021.
This topic has a very wide area since the entertainment industry impacts both the Arts and Enterprise from schools and colleges of performance to studios, to venues to travel and accommodation for those who seek out the escapism and the thousand ancillary services which cater to this enormous global activity.
Traditional theatre and film production has been very severely affected which has in turn forced the industry to think hard of its raison d'etre and develop new ways of producing and delivering content to this multi-billion dollar business.
I brought together an international range of speakers to talk to an invited group via a Zoom presentation on February 14th 2021. All sectors have been impacted: writers, actors, agents, casting directors, producers, directors, investors, technicians, venues and academics...the list is long.
The Chair, Davinder Singh of Swansea University introduced the guests who spoke for a maximum of 3 minutes on their particular viewpoint. The event was recorded and is available to view in 4 sections. Each episode is approximately 30 minutes in length. YouTube Links published below.
